Media Preview : DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru Introduces its Monthly Themed High Tea ( MARCH TO AUGUST )

Hi all~

As a hi tea lover, I will keep looking for the tasty hitea that many people recommended =p

DoubleTree By Hilton Johor Bahru located in the heart of Johor Bahru , famous in Hitea and dessert , therefore i believe Hi tea lover , definitely will be interested in the media preview of DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru MARCH TO AUGUST Monthly Themed High Tea ~!

In front of me, it's a Hi tea set that DoubleTree By Hilton Johor bahru gonna launched in APRIL .Named Coffee Toffee

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Johor Bahru is taking the high tea experience to new heights with its monthly themed high-tea buffet.

Chef Siti Zaidah, the hotel’s Pastry Chef and Chef Ayub Sous Chef show-stopping sweet treats and savoury morsels, designed in harmony to showcase a monthly themed seasonal produce in line with #EatDrinkHilton, Hilton’s first nationwide dining promotion, which underpins DoubleTree By Hilton Johor bahru commitment to deliver exceptional experiences to their guests by serving some of the most amazing cuisine in the country .

As a Hi tea lover, i just can't resist the hitea set displayed XD

The Axis Lounge located in hotel lobby will be the place serving Hi tea set . Axis Lounge is a perfect spot for a quick breakfast, a light lunch or an elegant English High Tea Set for Two with a cup of your favorite tea or coffee.Ideal for girl's afternoon / family gathering too =D

Besides Media preview for Hitea , DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Johor Bahru also arranged the fondant making session for media . Bloggers from JDT - Kak Seri and Iman .

Hitea ( March- August )

The themes are:

· March Mad About Chocolate with complimentary mock tail Virgin Chocolate Martini

Consist of Chicken Caesar Wrap ,smoked turney on panini , Chocolate Raisin Scones ( whipped cream, raspberry preserved ) , Desserts : trio chocolate coupes, broken chocolate praline etc.

· April Coffee Toffee with complimentary mock tail Earl Grey Rosemary Iced Tea

Consist of: Crab cake " thai " style , lemongrass chicken salad , tomato,cheese, walnut rye roll , Freshly baked toffee walnut scented scones and classic scones (whipped cream + homemade strawberry preserves ) , Desserts : Toffee Pralines, Coffee Cheesecake ,banoffe pie coupes etc

Personally, I love the freshly baked scones paired with clotted cream and strawberry preserved , very delicious ~

· May Foret Tropicale with complimentary mock tail Mint Berries

Consist of Hawaii sandwiches , sugar bun with smoked salmon rosette, Cranberry Scones and classic scones ( whipped cream + Homemade Strawberry Preserves ) , Pastries : Vanilla scented macaroon, chocolate praline dome, blueberry eclair etc.

· June Mint Tango with complimentary mock tail Mango Cooler

Consists of Chicken Tandoori, Mint Yoghurt Wrap Smoked Salmon, Mango Peppermint Salsa, sesame bun, Candied Mango Scones and Classic Scones whipped cream, preserved. Desserts: White Chocolate Mille Feullies, peppermint mango tart, mint brownie cake, mango religieuse, coconut pudding coupes.etc.

· July Spicy Sazzy with complimentary mock tail Spicy Raspberry Lemon Cooler

Consist of : Smoked duck pinwheel, japanese mayo,chill hoisin sauce, seared tuna, mango chili salsa , cranberry scones & plain scones , whipped cream & raspberry jam. Desserts: raspberry eclair, strawberry macaron , morello cherry dome, chocolate dip strawberry etc.

· August Death by Chocolate with complimentary mock tail Lovely Chocolate

Chocolate Pieces with rasberry is tasty, not so sweet .

This hitea set consist of : Smoked chicken , pesto mayo, ciabatta , green tea salmon buches polenta cake, caponata,dark chocolate shavings. Chocolate raisin scones & plain scones whipped cream, raspberry preserve, desserts: chocolate eclair,white chocolate passion fruit tarte,trio chocolate coupes,chocolate orange dome , broken chocolate praline etc.

The High- Tea buffet is available every Monday to Thursday 3pm – 6pm. It is priced at RM68 nett for two persons. Look out for more monthly themed high tea promotions, which will be revealed within the next coming months. =D
