Due to the work overload , it's been a while i doesn't update my english blog xD ,
Today,  I would love to share with you my unique poolside  dining experience at
 Oasis - Italian Restaurant and Bar, LG Poolside ~~


Thanks for the invite from Thistle Johor Bahru,  recently i attended the media preview of Chrismas Eve, New Year Eve Buffet with fellow blogger friends  :)


As 2019 comes to a close, Thistle Johor Bahru would like to invite everyone to take a step back from pondering new
year’s resolution and instead, reflect upon the fond memories of the year that was. Gather your family and friends once more
and join them on a gastronomical journey of merriment and tradition.

1. Seafood on Ice - Oysters, Tiger Prawns and New Zealand Mussels

                             Prawns is so fresh and  sweet we love it ✨



2. Bruschetta Counter - Parmesan Cheese & Selection of Bread with Tomato and Mushroom

3. Carving Station - Cajun Roasted Turkey, Roast Leg of Lamb with Rosemary

                                  One of the highlight dishes



4. Christmas Specials - Turkey and Shitake Ravioli Pasta, Smokey Jamaican Venison, Turkey Quesadilla

5. Christmas Desserts - Christmas Chocolate Flummery, Christmas Gingerbread Cookies, French
Chestnut Yule Log, Christmas Dundee Cake, Christmas Chocolate Truffle

Chocolate dessert ( in wine glasses ) is tasty , must try 😍~~ To me, the texture similar to creamery cake .

6. Trio Kawah - Mamu Fish Head Curry, Gearbox Sup Lambung, Kambing Tempayan, Bukhari Rice, Fried Spicy Kampung Chicken (Main dishes -Recommended)

                               I love this Bukhari rice , very delicious!



7. Chef’s Noodle Station - Laksa Johor with condiments
8. Local Delights - Roti Bakar Jalan Dhoby (Chicken Mushroom & Black Pepper)

Today I would love to share with you ,  the wonderful experience at TOSCA @ DoubleTree By Hilton Johor Bahru with JB Media friends =D

Our task for today is review Tosca brand new menu  filled with Italian favourites . =p

Media Review- Must Try- Tosca

The all -new menu features offerings designed to reflect hearty flavours through simple , quality sourced ingredients , for example:  top-grade olive oil , herbs and fresh tomatoes .

I had a refreshing fruit punch  to quench my thirst  =)

Appetiser :  Insalata Caprese ( V )  Buffalo Mozzarella, Vine Tomato, Pesto Emulsion

                                                       非常清淡自然的菜色

 Appetiser ： Antipasti Misti （C) - Italian Artisan Board , Turkey Chorizo, Air Dried Beef , Turkey Pepperoni , Shaved Pecorino, Buffalo Mozzarella & Sun Dried Tomato Bruschetta, Goat Cheese ,  Marinated Olives , Red Onions, Mostarda.

It's good can taste so many air dried meat at the same time ,  i love the berry sauce =）

          Insalata  Di Gamberi :  Tiger prawn, Cherry Tomato  , Kalamata Olives, Capers, Shaved Shallot, Lemon Dressing

                                    I love this tiger prawn~!! very light and  fresh =D  老虎蝦味道清淡而新鮮

Main Course : Brasato di Manzo - Balsamic Glazed Beef Cheeks  with SAUTEED Baby  Vegetables , Caramelized butter mash.

Pizza : Calzone Bomba  's ingredients :  Turkey Ham, Zucchini , Artichoke, Tomato Sauce , Basil Pesto

                        Look at this pic ,  I  can't resist to this pizza  , so tasty XD

                       Quottro Formaggi -
Pizza is freshly make （ on the spot ）, very crunchy~ 現做的批薩新鮮又脆口

Pizza are baked in traditional woodfire ovens for  crisp, airy crusts like the good old days.

  Pasta :  Vongole ( A )  Angel Hair Pasta with clams ,cherry tomato and garlics,
 pasta is smooth ,  I love it~!

                             意大利面的口感很順滑 （推薦）

     Scoglio ( C ) - Squid Ink Pasta with tiger prawn , mussel, clam, squid, scallop, and spicy tomato sauce  =)

Main Course : Wagyu Beef Burger  :  Brioche Bun Caramelized Onion , Fontina Cheese , Tomato , Pesto, Steak Fries . ( Recommeded ) 

The beef  and the chips is delicious !  Must try  =)

Dessert : Affogato - Vanilla Gelato , Espresso, Mascarpone Shortbread, Biscotti , Drambuie

Gianduja - Praline Cream Parfait, Caramelized Hazelnut , Gelato

I love all the dessert ! So delicious ~! 

Especially gianduja, , I guess it might be because I am one of the hazelnut lover =p

  I finished all of them ~~

                    Just pay one affordable price, then can tasted so many cheese ,very worthy~!!

                 Got different type of  honey, nuts , dried fruit and bread  served  too .

  I personally love the soft texture cheese with honey =p   Blue cheese 's taste is  abit too strong for me .
