CITARASA NOSTALGIA RAMADAN BUFFET 2019 @ HOTEL JEN PUTERI HARBOUR BY SHANGRI LA

Hi all~~

Recently Blogger friends and me visited Harbour Cafe of Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour , Johor by Shangri-la . The reason we gathered here is because of  Citarasa Nostalgia  Ramadan Dinner Buffet  's Media Preview . 

RAMADAN BUFFET was prepared by Chef Rusli and Chef  Ehsan,  they will bring in their old family 's recipe such as Mee rebus, Gearbox Kambing, Asam Pedas etc  =)  

Over 150 dishes is expected which  included  Middle Eastern to Thai ! All geared towards preserving heritage.

One of the highlight of Their Citarasa Nostalgia  Ramadan Dinner Buffet is Durian! They will served in the open terrace area.  Eat all you can is their slogan  !  The unlimited supply of Durian Buffet is such an attractive deal to durian ❤ lover!   The durian i tasted  is giant size and it was so tasty!! 💖

Besides Durian buffet ,  It's glad to catch up with  Hayden on  this media preview session !

            One of the highlight of buffet  is  a lot of Malay kampung style traditional dishes served =)

                     I love their kampung kuzi johor, yummy =D  ~

         Wide array of  traditional cuisine  which  includes Ayam Percik, Kerabu Hidayat, Bubur Lambuk, Opor Ayam, Sambal Udang Pati Santan, Sotong  Masak Hitam.  I love  sambal tempeh =p

      Omg ~ this is  such a Dessert Lover's paradise !!   Hotel Jen's very own Pastry Chef Asbullah presented the ondeh-ndeh cake and pengat durian cake . I personally love the lamington ( the cake roll in this photo, the chocolate flavour  is delicious, you gotta try it ! ) 

According google search , The mouth watering  lamington is an Australian favourite 's cake, made from squares of butter cake or sponge cake coated in an outer layer of chocolate sauce and rolled in desiccated coconut. The thin mixture is absorbed into the outside of the sponge cake and left to set, giving the cake a distinctive texture. 
      

                   

                    Refreshing guava juice is one of my favourite too =)  Thanks for the invite, i did enjoy the dessert , durian and dining environment =)
