It’s going to be big. Really big – unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Thousands of Malaysians have had the opportunity to experience Slide the City. Following its smashing debut in Putrajaya last year, this sensation has toured Malaysia to overwhelming response in Melaka and Kuantan. And now, Johoreans will have this 1000-foot giant waterslide in their own backyard on 15 October 2016.

From 8.30am to 7.30pm – so there’s no excuse not to attend. This massive slip n’ slide has not failed to thrill in a carnival like scene unlike any other seen in Johor before.    

Since its 2013 debut in the United States, this global phenomenon has developed an almost cult-like following worldwide, having reached more than two million people in major cities worldwide which include, among others, Japan and Hong Kong.

It’s truly something to see a road usually bustling with city traffic to be taken over by a giant slide! However, what’s more amazing is the event’s ability to bring people together friends and family both young and old. Even if they’re not going on the slide, the whole atmosphere itself provides something for everyone. 

The Johor leg of Spritzer Slide the City Malaysia will feature the same merriment and revelry experienced in previous venues, complete with food trucks, music, and tons fun and games for every member of the family.

Anyone is welcome. However, to ride the slide, you have to be at least 8 years old (as of event date) OR a minimum height of 117cm. Proper attire is mandatory for all participants. That means no bikinis, tank tops and hot pants are allowed. Muslimah sliders, however, are allowed to wear a tudung.
Early bird passes are now available at discounted prices at http://slidethecity.asia/. These include a Single Slider pass for RM39, a Triple Slider pass at RM89 and an Unlimited Slider pass at RM149 per person. All participants will receive a wrist tag, while triple slider pass holders will receive an official Slide the City t-shirt,A pair of sunglasses to look cool as you slide down and a water gun to amplify the fun factor. Unlimited slider pass holders will receive all these goodies too plus a free drink.

Gather your friends and save even more! You can even purchase a Save-n-Slide package (that’s four Triple Slider tickets) for only RM196. That works out to only RM49 per person! Each person will also receive a water gun!
